Preparation of flight plan for cross-country flight from LKTB to OMDB by Zlin Z-143 Airplane
Pískatý, Slavomír ; Raudenský, Miroslav (referee) ; Imriš, Pavel (advisor)
The objective of this study is the submission of entire flight plans of chartered routes, including risk analysis and necessary equipment for flights in the middle eastern region.. The paper describes rules for IFR flights, which must be followed when flying into these areas and also focuses on the meteorological situation, legislation and general geographical characteristics of the mentioned states. The flight to UAE is divided into several stages which makes the planning easier when searching for a specific locality. All the available information is according to AIP and AIC.

The objective of this study is the submission of entire IFR flight plans of chartered routes, including risk analysis and necessary equipment for flights in central and east Europe. The paper describes rules for IFR flights, which must be followed when flying into these areas and also focuses on the meteorological situation, legislation and general geographical characteristics of the mentioned states. The flight to Russia is divided into several legs. All the available information is according to the valid AIP.
Comparison of Fruit Trees Prices Ascertained by the Simplified and Yield Method
Jašová, Alena ; Lorencová, Marie (referee) ; Pertl, Marek (advisor)
The Thesis „Comparison of fruit trees prices ascertained by the simplified and yield method“ deals with the comparison of both pricing methods, where there are defined factors on the basis of ascertained facts which have essential influence on price difference of fruit trees and subsequently the proposal to their modification is made.
Climate and settlement dynamics based on comparison of dendroclimatic and archaeological data of South Bohemian holocene.
VOBEJDA, Libor
The environment is influenced by the ever changing system of interacting forces. Changes in the climate are amongst many crucial factors that determine life conditions on Earth. All organisms have to cope with the environmental changes and humans are no exception. This thesis is focused on description of climate changes during the Holocene geological epoch. The climate is delineated based on proxy datasets. South Bohemian proxy data, mainly tree ring chronology, are used as primary sources for the reconstruction of past climate. These proxy datasets are complemented by various climatic reconstructions covering the area of central Europe. In order to assess the connection of past human societies to climate, a comparison between climate and settlement proxies is conducted. As an example of the settlement proxies we can list relative population density and location of dwellings. Target populations are agricultural prehistoric and historic societies.
Influence of weather and climate on Ips typographus calamities in Šumava mountains
Tůma, Lukáš ; Sládek, Ivan (advisor) ; Kožnarová, Věra (referee)
European spruce bark beetle (Ips typographus) is a natural forest pest that feeds on coniferous trees, mainly on spruce. Previous studies showed that population growth of bark beetle is supported by warm and dry weather and hindered by cold and humid weather. Temperature affects development rates and influences the number of generations bark beetle may produce during one season; furthermore, it affects survival rates during the winter. Low precipitation leads to water stress of spruce trees which become more prone to bark beetle infestation. High precipitation promotes growth of mold and other natural enemies of bark beetle. The aim of the experimental part of this thesis was to analyze the relationship between population dynamics of bark beetle and weather, using data from the Šumava national park. Data did not show a significant effect of temperature and precipitation on the population growth rate of bark beetle. The growth rate was significantly correlated only with the abundance of bark beetle in the previous year. For further examination of population dynamics of bark beetle in connection with climate characteristics, it would be required to obtain better and more long-term data on bark beetle abundance; harvested bark beetle wood may be influenced by a variety of interfering (e.g....
The influence of long-term changes of atmospheric circulation on observed trends of surface climatic elements in the Czech Republic and Europe
Cahynová, Monika ; Huth, Radan (advisor) ; Metelka, Ladislav (referee) ; Halenka, Tomáš (referee)
(English) RNDr. Monika Cahynová: The influence of long-term changes of atmospheric circulation on observed trends of surface climatic elements in the Czech Republic and Europe The aim of this thesis is to quantify the links between recent atmospheric circulation changes over Europe and local surface climatic trends. We employ several parallel classifications of circulation types that were collected and developed within the COST733 Action "Harmonisation and Applications of Weather Types Classifications for European Regions". To our knowledge, such a comparative approach has not been used so far. Atmospheric circulation changes over Europe were studied in terms of changing seasonal frequency and persistence of daily circulation types in the second half of the 20th century. The extensive collection of both subjective and objective catalogues of circulation types in European regions from the COST733 Action served as a platform for comparison of different classification methods, varying numbers of circulation types, and spatial scale of circulation processes. The most prominent trend - winter increase in the number of days with westerly flow - clearly stems from the strengthening of the North Atlantic Oscillation. The objective classifications did not show any systematic change of persistence of...
Issues of Corn Market development
Černěnková, Eva ; Toth, Štefan (advisor) ; Jan, Jan (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with one of the most widely grown crop in the world that is corn. The diploma thesis consists of theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part describes corn as an arable crop, aims at its history and trading patterns. The special attention is devoted to crucial factors which are affecting the corn market. The first subchapter of practical part focuses on analysis factors like production, harvest and planted area of corn in United States of America. Based on the graphic analysis are shown and duly commented on the long-term developmental trends of indicators in the timeframe of last fifty years. The next subchapter of the thesis deals with the analysis of time series of individual determinants affecting maize market. In the last subchapter is built econometric model, which is used to compare predictions of ex -post with reality. The conclusion of the thesis evaluates the results of modelling, describes and critically valorizes the influence of individual determinants on the maize market , and outlines the potential development of the corn market.
